I wish to make a complaint about a significant amount of items posted ermm not reaching me despite having deliveries every day RM deliver on.I called the so called Customer Care Line yesterday and it took ages to actually reach a person. She told me that I had to fill a form out for every bit of mail. I said Ok I will do that as far as i can - as i do not know when these things were posted to me , only that I have not recieved them.
While talking to the assistant who seemed to be a very young girl from the sound of her voice, I enquired as to how I could get this passed on to my local delivery office or if I could contact them as this is ongoing right now, very serious and I am also expecting a lot of stuff that i actually have paid for(most of the other stuff being competition prizes and freebies - tho still missed and valuable to me) she said all they can do is get me to fill a form in. When I told her that so far this list of things I am expecting covers almost 2 pages of a notebook and I know of at least 15-20 items so far that everyone else has recieved and I havent in addition to so far 2 Lovefilm discs which havent reached me( this seems to be the new release titles as i have had delivery of an obscure music title reach me just fine) again all I was offered was to go to my local PO and ask them for 20 forms..:mad:
is there anyway I can speak to someone on the phone above this customer care line or complain about them?

Phone your local sorting office. Number normally in the phone book. If not go and visit them.'The More I know about people the Better I like my Dog'

I wouldnt be so sure the lovefilm discs being missing is anything to do with royal mail. I was a member of lovefilm for best part of 2009, then I left as loads didnt seem to appear to find their way back according to lovefilm. I rejoined again this year as they sent a special offer, 3 months for the price of one.
2 weeks into this and all the discs I was being sent werent turning up, then in the third week I finally got 3 discs, and when I returned these only one marked up as being received (although it was one that was sent with another disc in the same envelope), Im sorry but I refused to believe this, and when I queried it they accused me of stealing the discs basically. So my account was "terminated" and I didnt get any refund despite only having use of 3 disks in one month before they suspended the account. Funnily enough I was a member of blockbusters online rental service for about 8 months after leaving lovefilm the first time and they didnt once lose a disk or not acknowledge its return....
Royal mail have sent me forms asking to confirm if i received the disks or not, and I recounted the story in the return to them. So It should be for the sender to chase with RM not yourself.
Hope your situatin gets resolved.0 -

Royal Mail's policy is that you provide proof of posting for the letters you claim you you have not received?( you are unlikely to have that for competition prizes and freebies)
and then they pay the value of the lost items up to 100 times the price of a first class stamp with proof of value and proof of posting
If you submit too many claims they will adopt a special procedure to deal with you and your claims will take longer
At the end of the day Royal Mail will do the miniumum they are required to do in respect of your problems and they openly admit this if you know where to look
Also you should note that all postmen are trained liars - thats right they are trained to avoid confrontation - if lying avoids confrontration then they will do so - it is official Royal Mail policy - it is part of the training for the job of postieHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Have you checked that the address you are using is actually correct. Put your postcode into the RM website and check you are actually using the right one. At work we get a lot of items returned because people don't know their correct address. The most common problem is people using a house name when the official RM address has it listed as a number. Other times they are using a local name for a crescent, street or whatever when their actual address is something completely different.0
