Is anyone out there on this tariff? It was available in Wales to over 50s. I have had a letter from Swalec telling me they are cancelling it on 25 05 11 giving me less than six weeks to find another supplier. I know at least two other people on this tariff and neither of them have been notified:eek:

You may qualify for their social tariff, I believe you may get a £50 / £100 rebate on each fuel or a reduced unit rate. It is a means tested tariff so is dependant on what you earn to what you use, worth giving them a phone tho!0

Hi,
We two are on the easywarm tarif and have been told that it is coming to an end. If anyone has any information on any other tarifs or discounts for 2 over 60's id be really greatful as on the comparison sites you cant even select the easywarm tarif!

Thanks for your reply-how were you notified? They claim they tried telephoning me-no calls received I've had no response to an e mail and now of course have even less time to make alternative arrangements. Will keep you posted re alternative tariffs.
I'm wondering whether it is ending or whether they are trying to offload high users.:eek:0 -

Swalec Fuel Poor Tariff as ' nsor ' says might be worth investigating. All energy suppliers have to offer their most vulnerable customers cheaper tariffs. Make contact and ask the question.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. I try to be an even-handed poster and accept that you at times may not agree with these opinions or how I choose to express them, this is not my problem.
