Thanks, I need cheering up as my mum is in a hospice today (cancer) :( and might like to get something to cheer me up

Anyone know how long is the flight?

It says an hour but when I did it the whole experience was about 4 hours from start to finish.

Anyone know how long is the flight?
The short answer is around an hour.
Although the entire experience with take 3-4 hours. That includes inflating the balloon, briefing, the flight, waiting for the groupd crew, packing up the balloon, exiting the field, returning to the lauch site.

But the long answer is it depends.
They will try to plan their lauch site so that you can have an hours flight.
However the wind direction could be slightly different to the forecast.
If they face a hazard (airport, large town, large area of crops, military zone, river etc.) then they may have to land early if they do not have sufficient fuel.
Of course they are professionals and will do their best to give you the hour, but it isn't like driving a taxi or an aeroplane, you are somewhat at the mercy of the weather.

BTW - If you are tall - then take a hat - especially if you don't have much hair - you will be close to the burners.
Also don't wear shorts in case you land in a cut stubble field - it will scratch your legs.
If you have long hair then I recommend tying it up (I got mine caught underneath part of the basket once).
Also you might want to put a cord on your glasses (just in case you have a heavy landing) and they fall off.
This advice is of course entirely precautionary and not intended to worry anyone.

    Any questions, fire away.

Yes, the RRP is rather ............err inflated...............:-))

You need to watch out with groupon for either over inflated RRP and overselling where there can't possibly be enough capacity.
I booked a gym voucher recently.
They have sold twice as much as they have capacity for in the stated timescale.
It's onyl going to lead to problems and refunds.
  • Brilliant I've just bought two vouchers for me and my hubby for our anniversery :) Just hope it's easier to book a slot on the same day now!

    Topcashback are giving 5% too
