If cash machines could do this why dont they call a service engineer when there broken or out of money or call the police when they are being vandalised?

Unless there is a PIN that is universally assigned to say the robbers have an out of date tax disc, or were doing 31 in a 30 before they came to rob you, in which case they would already be on their way before you could put in the last digit :rolleyes:

Obvious spoof. The phrase "police will be immediately despatched" makes that most obvious!

The bank I work for have, over the last week, recieved quite a few calls about this as a result of a "posting on an internet website"

They have confirmed that it is a hoex.

My first ever "post"
just been sent this e-mail myself thought it sounded strange esp as I have a 2 #
repeating pin and have managed to put it in backwards myself several times. No flashing blue lights and
no money just "incorrect pin" !
