Okay now that is cleared, what you need to do is go to www.pepipoo.com they are the experts with these kind of tickets, just register, read the FAQs about uploading your PCN to the site, and post a new thread in the parking section, they will need to see scans of both sides of the PCN to help you.

Seconded. PePiPoo is the place for definitive advice on council-issued (i.e. civil enforcement) parking tickets. As a general rule - and I'm sure you will find it applies to your case as well - the philosophy at PePiPoo is to appeal all council issued tickets but I'll leave the final word on that to them.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

Just ignore the letters you will receive and the invoice put on your van, if you are driving such a vehicle how can you park within bays, my brother's van is huge and takes up almost two bays in length , he got an invoice I showed him this place.

Write a stinking letter to tesco, complaining that you are a shopper at their store, your only vehicle is a van, its impossible to park within the bays, what are you supposed to do? Ask them about discriminating certain drivers of vehicles, tell them that you are going to the local press with your story, and please do that , the only way we can get rid of the scammers is by complaints to the retailers.

    Taffy....naughty, naughty.

I sentence you to stoning to death for assuming it was PPC.

Don't you know that your bad advice could have cost the op their house, their job and their marriage.

I have asked the mods to ban you for life from these hallowed grounds for your reckless and ill-conceived rubbish advice.

Why...it's almost like deja vu...all over again.

I insist that you apologise profusely to everyone.

a sign reads 'drivers to park within bay' ... Ok so im didnt realise had to park within the bay
It shouldn't take a sign to tell you how to park properly; there is a matter of etiquette and courtesy to others.

I'd want to slap a ticket on some muppet who takes up two bays if there were none left, so if your van's too big for the bay, park it somewhere else as the car park is clearly intended for cars. Car parks round my way have height barriers set at 2 metres and rightly so.

Obviously this one has no barriers to restrict large vehicles, and if bays are not large enough is it that persons fault ? And what about cars towing trailers to pick goods from DIY stores, should they face the same restrictions of use ?

Clearly you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about in regards to this, your opinion that parking outside shops are just for cars is not correct!
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?
