Balance Transfers that allow payments into bank accounts

I once did this with a Virgin card and now am looking at something similar. Do any of them still allow this?

    Think it is only MBNA cards, am sure Martin has an article on it.

    I think a lot of them will let you pay money into your bank account but will treat it as a cash advance with related fees and not a balance transfer, which I assume is what the OP is looking for.

    MBNA have certainly contacted me in the past asking if I want to balance transfer to my bank account. Not sure if they still offer it.
