Power Washer

I'm thinking of buying a second-hand power washer but it doesn't have a hose or gun.

Do power washers have the same diameter hose and type of fittings i.e are things from different manufacturers interchangeable?

no they are not interchangeable. although you can buy adaptors for the karcher range.
make sure the used machine is cheap, as the parts are very expensive.
    ie gun/hoses are 25/50 quid.
    Get some gorm.

How much for as you might be better off waiting until someone has an offer on a Karcher or Nilfisk.

I just bought a Nilfisk from Amazon for £40 odd, surely that would be a better option?

Just read through some of the posts in this forum and you will realise the stupidity of some people who think they have got a bargain. When what they have bought is an item without all it's associated bits and pieces. These turn out to be unobtainable or very expensive and the "bargain" turns out to not be a "bargain". Recently, someone was on here trying obtain feet for a bath they had bought. If it has not got all its bits then it is not a bargain.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.
