MBNA - McAfee...I sense some future vent posts!

Greetings all,

I recently noticed MBNA were offering me a years free subscription to McAfee, I'll leave aside any comments regarding this particular AVG software and hopefully others will too heh, anyway I investigated just out of interest and part of the trial process asked me to enter my card details..I was thinking to myself "hmm this is meant to be free", well turns out you enter your card details and after a year if you don't cancel they will automatically renew and charge you...

Anyone else sense a load of the vent posts similar to the Amazon Prime ones in about a years time? On a side note, I had a McAfee trial from HSBC and I didn't need to enter any details other than a login for that, it's not like MBNA to try and get more money out of

This is true, however the Amazon Prime stuff is quite clearly written too
