Credit card application - business telephone number

I'm in the process of applying for the MBNA Visa cash back credit card.

It's asking me for a business telephone number. Which one do I provide? Would it be head office's number, the site I work at, or my own company mobile number?

They will only use it to harass and chase you if you fall behind on payments. So make one up, or give them the number of a local unsavoury location or something...
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

Just give your mobile number unless it specifically asks for emploers number.

That would be rather better than "I really don't know why I gave you the number of the local knocking shop..." :rotfl:

Often credit card providers will call to see if you are available on that line, and if it is answered with a business-esque greeting.

In the past both Barclaycard and RBS have called me on the business telephone number, asking to be put through to me.

I would expect that if they failed to be put through to me or were told that they don't know who I am, they would have declined the application without a second thought.
