Ordered cetrizine from Chemist 4U for the first time on Weds @ 97p for 30 with their free postage offer. Delivered Thurs morning, very impressed.0

Oneclickpharmacy have got packs of 30 Loratadine 10mg (non drowsy, the same as likes of tesco, sainsburys cheap non drowsy) for 60p. Postage is £2.85 tho, but may still be worth it if buying other bits or in bulk. I've bought 6 packs
So I have loads now. If you buy 6 packs, even with postage it works out at approx 50p/14 tablets (as opposed to 75p-£1 in supermarkets).
Linky!
When I searched on the site for loratidine it came up a blank but I went back and used your link and there it was! Thank you so much for posting this. :j0 -
In previous years (when pregnant, and I couldn't take hayfever drugs) i used "hay max" . You put a tiny amount around your nose - I guess it works similarly to vaseline in trapping pollen; but it contains beeswax and sunflower oil. If vaseline works for you, then that's the cheaper option; but if not, this might be worth a try. It did work a little for me; but I am now back on telfast and beconaise, which works far better for me.0

Having had hayfever for 10 years the most effective solution for me has been nasal sprays. With regular use in the hayfever season nasal sprays work to prevent or reduce hayfever symptoms. Then I top up with tablets or eye drops if I have any spikes in my hayfever. I see tablets much more to relieve symptoms, rather than prevent hayfever, and I only take them when my hayfever gets bad.
Best of all, you can usually get 2 nasal sprays (2 months worth) on one prescription. If your doctor is sympathetic they will prescribe 2 months worth of nasal sprays, eye drops or tablets or all three. The cheap generic hayfever tablets from wilkinsons, asda are great, no point paying for branded stuff.
Random hayfever tip: wash your hair before going to bed and/or change your pillow often. You can have pollen caught in your hair, it rubs off on the pillow and your spend all night with your nose near the pillow. Hope it works for you!0 -
From a post I did on 11 April:travellingbum wrote: »Today in LIDL I bought a 14 tablets pack of 'Galpharm's Non-Drowsy Hayfever & Allergy Relief' tablets for 75p. Expiry date is March 2013.
Contains Loratadine.
Much cheaper than the 7-pack in Poundland.
Does LIDL still stock this product? (The 14-pack that is; not the 7-pack shown here) I didn't see any on the shelf in my local LIDL today.0 -

A number of the online pharmacies sell bottles of 500 standard Piriton tablets for under £10 - including the Chemist4U site linked to on this week's email.......

I've looked on the chemist4U site and they no longer have these, bottles of 500 tablets. Does anyone know where they are still available, I've googled loads but cant find any.
Or does anyone know any pharmacys that do serious bulk discounts, I have a veterinary prescription, and need to get 3600 tablets asap, as I've nearly ran out. And my last suppliers prices have gone up a lot ! :mad:0 -
