Yay, no drastic changes to my shopping list. Checked against s/s and on T/A websites just incase. Looking forward to seeing what happens with the smoked salmon. How decadent - getting paid to eat smoked salmon!
Thanks so much the S/S editors - you're wonderful!
Have yourself a lovely, sunny DTD day all!
I am pretty sure it was a mistake. I expect to see it as 3 for £10 today. Not even tesco would be stupid enough to make it 2 for £10..........................would they?:rotfl:

Does anyone know which product on the Asda site was matching up with the silverside/topside of beef? I was having a search this morning to see if it was worth going for another to take down to my Mum at the end of the week, but all I can find is this: "ASDA Topside silverside joint £8.48/kilo". But there is an Asda Beef roasting joint large rolled back from £8.48 to £4.00/kilo; is this what the Tesco silverside/topside over 1 kilo in weight matches to?

never thought of searching in asda website for the beef...i bought 2 joints with 02365 barcode 8.48/kg and was pricematch last week.

Just a quick warning - the Gordon Ramsey Seriously Good Red Wine Bolognaise Sauce is now matched down to £1.22 on the website. I've put in a removal request for the SS, but careful if you're heading out to Mr T's shortly!

    Well see here: http://www.tesco.com/groceries/SpecialOffers/SpecialOfferDetail/Default.aspx?promoId=A11011100

It's actually 2 for £10 across a whole range of products. If people focused on them ( as a lot are being over charged for £10 ) and we get comparables to ASDA there is a chance for great DTD!!

Yes, and I felt safe doing that last week but there's been a big rash of price changes just lately and £10+ is a bit much to be stung for a big ol' lump of beef that I thought would be better than free - I don't think I'm going to be the first to risk it again until it's reconfirmed!
  • Can anyone shed any light on what exactly this is on the spreadsheet? It says Fray Bentos 425g/475g ANY TYPE MUST BUY 3.

I'm making wild guess and thinking it's pie but can anyone confirm, please?

  • Seems the google spreadsheets that the angels of this forum worked so hard on is becoming quite popular and popping up on other discussion sites, I just saw it on The Motley Fool site but the link didnt go straight to SS it asks you to log in with google docs first. The SS angels are famous. :-)
