Looking for some inspiration please, 2 kids at primary have tea parties next week for the royal wedding, i have 2 £16 vouchers would really love to get as much as poss with this, especially as i have been telling the other mums (some are really on a tight budget) about tesco and dtd to be continually be told "i can't be bothered with all that:wall::eek:."
Anyway would really love to prove a point (childish i know;)) that they can get loads for pretty much nothing, however, i don't think the kids would like to drink comfort strawberry or not lol!! and cornettos would melt by lunchtime
Can anyone inspire my shopping list?
TIA x
Hi
According top Mr Ts site, they have lots of items going back up in price on Tuesday, providing that Mr A keeps the same prices at present there are loads of kids stuff.
I am compiling a list of items due to go up at Mr Ts on Tuesday.... will post list as soon as I have completed it.0 -

COuld you please provide a link to the one you bought - there were 2 similar but different ones on the shelf yesterday so I left it - too big a gamble.
Thanks!0 -
IPhone users you need to set your search engine to Yahoo in your settings then you can get the spread sheet on Safari.
To make it into an App click onto the spreadsheet on Safari and click on the + sign next to the little book at the bottom, then click Add to Home Screen this will bring a little naming window which you can call it whatever you want then click Add. Hey presto it comes up in your Apps and can be refreshed as of when needed.
Hope that Helps someone.
Thanks, I have done that and now have easy access to the spreadsheet at all times0 -
Cadbury's chocolate fingers, kit kats, crisps (loads on DTD SS just now), 7-up, chewee bars, mikado...there's loads to choose from, all of which my kids would LOVE if someone brought into school for a party! Good luck with your list and show em how it's done!! :rotfl:
Just to mention Cadburys choc fingers no longer working, Asda have increased price & they now match.0 -

Loo roll is the biggie... expensive for what it is.... all stores always seem to have very similar prices on these...boooooo.0 -
Just a quick one, the strawberries (227g) I have brought today, will confirm tomorrow, but they were £3.50 in my local, maening if it works, DTD will be £5.00. Mr T is encouraging healthy eating, which is probably a good thing after all these chocs and ice ceams!
Think I am getting the hang of this now! Voucher for £18.14, shopping total £18.26, one happy bunny!
ETA: got stung by the dream fingers yesterday, DTD now only 20p0 -
