Lol - you definitely aren't the only one fella. I did the 'are you a friend of Martin' last night with a fellow DTDer and then separately have spotted the same lady 3 days running loitering around the Muller corners and Chicago Towns in another store whilst doing an 'accompanied shop' ;)
Still waiting to spot a fellow DTD shopper in Leeds and Bradford stores.

    Surely I can't be the only one.:D

    new spreadsheet information please read
OK, we have been working on some modifications to the way we update the spreadsheet as trawling through everybody's posts is a massive task, and there aren't that many of us.

So, with this in mind, from now on all spreadsheet update requests should be submitted using this form

    https://spreadsheets0.google.com/viewform?hl=en&hl=en&formkey=dEd6Q0IxMVVBbF84VjNZWUdOeEdjblE6MQ#gid=0

The form can be used to submit new deals, notify us of your confirmed deals for today, notify price changes or tell us to delete something.

Before you send us an update, please check carefully whether the item is already on the spreadsheet. You can do this by pressing CTRL+ F and searching. If it is already there but you need to send us an amendment, then please copy the description from the spreadsheet in to your form. This will make our lives a whole lot easier, A LOT EASIER. PLEASE CHECK BEFORE YOU SEND YOUR CONFIRMED LIST if the item has already been updated for today.

Also, we will only put the website prices on the SS as there are regional variations in store.

The revised spreadsheet is located here (live version)

    https://spreadsheets0.google.com/pub?hl=en&hl=en&key=0ArDxW2XgVnGjdEd6Q0IxMVVBbF84VjNZWUdOeEdjblE&single=true&gid=4&output=html

We have tweaked the value column to make it easier to find the good deals. Those in red, you get back more than you pay (cer-ching!) - those in green, the net cost is less than 60% of the price you would pay at Asda.

We will no longer be updating from the thread (although we will keep our eyes open) so please, use the form.

note to all - deals which have not been confirmed for 1 week are deleted from the spreadsheet so remember to confirm them!

The spreadsheet relies on google hosting it, and their servers have crashed a couple of times lately. It doesn't mean we've removed the SS, barred you or anything else. Please be patient - it normally comes back up within minutes rather than hours

Just a reminder for all people today when vouchers come in...

oh and please post changes here with a note when you have completed the form. i.e:

    SS form completed
Clearly they [Tesco] found it hard to make a promise they couldn't keep." Asda Spokesperson.

I say Tesco found it EASY to make promises it still cannot keep.

Tesco extra are not part of this promotion only metro and big supermarkets.

Correction...... Tesco Extra, Superstore and Metro are all part of the promotion. Tesco Express, Petrol Filling Stations and Homeplus stores are not included.

FYI - the Tesco Extra's are actually the biggest stores, that usually contain all the Tesco lines (or certainly most of them anyway).

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
I said yesterday evening that I was in the middle of cooking a previously frozen Finest mozarella and tomato pizza (£4.25 in T/£2 in A) and I forgot to report back:o.

It cooked fine and tasted great! I can't really advise on cooking times as I have a fan assisted oven with a temperature scale all it's own, but I cooked it at a lower temp than it says in the box for about 10-12 mins. Just keep an eye on it after about 10 mins really (I do a lot of cooking by eye ;)). General verdict was no detriment to taste/texture after being frozen:T:j.

    It's only a game

I'm going to take the plunge and buy the cod loin from the fresh counter in my Tesco today and see what happens. Hubby will appreciate a change from meat I think.

And the tomatoes were ok after being frozen?

I thought they would go all soggy?
