Confusing indeed! So you think Asda actually want graduates but are saying they want post graduates. I think I'll go and look at Asda's website now.

The only vacancy mentioning graduate said, "University/college graduate or equivalent in a relevant science." Obviously not the same vacancy as the OP saw but they do seem to know that what they want is a graduate.

I don't know. It was just a suggestion. I also can't find a vacancy requesting anything other than graduate.

But, Asda? Post-grad? Really? Doing what?

It was not a vacancy it was something else on the asda site that linked you elsewhere

I'd be surprised if logistics was a field where you actually needed a degree.

If you want to be a doctor, you must study medicine. If you want to be a lawyer, you must study law. For most other jobs...a degree might help, but it's not the be all and end all. As another poster said, a degree in logistics is no use if you don't know how long it takes to move stuff about.

OP - have you tried applying for jobs in the field you want to work in? There's a possibility that you'll find you don't actually need any further qualifications, in which case it would be a waste to spend years getting a degree before you applied for the job you wanted.

Are you able to post a link to it here? Then we can take a look at it and make informed suggestions.
  • Are you basing your entire desire to do these qualifications on the basis of one job advert?
  • DH would recommend that anyone looking to work in logistics/transport work as a driver first. Then maybe some drivers wouldn't get stupid drop times and such tight schedules!
