Digital TV, Sky, DVD rec - it's all so confusing to setup! - HELP

Options
Hi
We recently bought a Toshiba 32WLT66 and had it working with Sky and a DVD recorder.
We've now moved house and can get digital TV too (and it's integrated in the TV), but want to keep Sky, and cannot get Sky to work without it making everything malfunction.
Could someone help me by explaining how it whould all be connected?

Thanks

Shona

Connect the Sky Digibox to the Scart input socket on the TV. Now when the Sky box is out of standby, the TV should automatically show the selected satellite TV programme.

This is how I would do it.

SKY (set to RGB out) "TV OUT" --->DVD AV1 (Enable RGB input. This enables RGB recording off Sky) This way you watch Sky through the DVD recorder all the time, allowing for 'timeslip', chase recordings, etc.

DVD AV2 OUT (set to RGB out) ---> TV AV1 (Set to RGB input. Gives you best quality playback from sky/dvd recs off sky)

To watch Sky whilst recording off tv tuner, TV to AV1, DVD to AV2 (with digi channel of choice)*
To watch tv whilst recording Sky, DVD to AV1, tv to channel of chioce.

If you can post the type of DVD rec I may be able to help further, if the above doesn't work!

*Unnecessary if DVD has built in Freeview. Also you need to set EXT 2 output on tv to "DTV".
