How much extra does a leasehold house (not flat) tend to add on? Sheffield is one of those strange places where most houses seem to be leasehold. It might persuade us to find a local solicitors too if it will mean they have more experience with them...0

£150, because it is a thicker document to look through and summarise to a client and so takes more time. also notices have to ne served on the Landlord to tell then you are the new tenant.
many good solicitors do not charge more as they have a good comprehensive template of a Report - though the rubbish conveyancers out there fail to provide their clients with a nice bound written summary REport of the papers with the legal documents attached duly highlighted to explain them. Many just trickle letter of explanation on each document - shame on them!My posts are just my opinions and are not offered as legal advice - though I consider them darn fine opinions none the less.:cool2:
