Vehicle Control Services ANPR

Hi

I would be really grateful if anyone could help. I have received a parking fine from Vehicle Control Services with a photo of my car entering a car park in the morning then leaving some 6 hrs later. I did Park my car in the car park in the morning then moved my car to park on a nearby street, then drove back through the car park later on to turn my car around. I didn't park in the car park for the time they have stated. I have appealed twice and have a letter from Sheffield council who tender the street where I parked in-between stating that I couldn't provide a ticket to prove that I parked on the street because the machine wasn't working. VCS are having none of it I have advised that I will plead my case in front of a judge but they said that they would go through a debt collection agency first I would be grateful for any advise!!

You have told them you'll see them in court and they are still threatening you with debt collectors? What does that tell you?
Ignore these idiots and do not contact them again.

I am just worried that i will end up blacklisted as they are stating that they have looked through there footage and only have one picture of me entering the car park and one exiting the car park I have contacted the local council and police with regards to CCTV on the road I was parked on in-between but they can't help!

They don't have a picture of you, they have a picture of a car. From that they cannot identify the driver.

As for "blacklisting". How do you propose they are going to do that?

You are taking these people much too seriously. They are not the police or council. They are just private citizens with no more power than you or me to demand money off another private citizen.

So you said "Take me to court" and they said "Er, well, we'll get Jeff on the next desk to write you letters headed 'Debt Collection Department' instead".

Relax and get on with your life. They're running a scheme that begins with s and rhymes with ham.

The only worry I have is that they have photos of my number plate so this would stand up in court and I only have a letter stating the ticket machine wasn't working as I can't get any CCTV footage of me parked on the nearby road and I can't even say I wasn't in the area all day because I go to Uni there I contacted a solicitor who said I could fight it but wouldn't be able to afford solicitors costs as I wouldn't be entitled to legal aid!x

They have photos of everyone's number plate, how do you think they get the details from the DVLA? you have been given advice above about this, it appears you don't believe them, how about this then, Ann Robinson on BBC Watchdog, is that enough for you?

Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

You are still taking these clowns too seriously. They are just a bunch of chancers trying to con money out of people. Your case is no different to the many others that are featured on here. They went down the "ignore" route and nothing happened.

It appears you still don't get it. Please read all the threads on this forum about VCS and all the other PPC cowboys.
You do not owe them a penny and you don't need a solicitor. Ignoring them works, we have all done it.

What does it take to get through to some people.

I'm sure if you get an "invoice" in such circumstances you laugh and put it in the bin and I'm not saying this isn't excellent advice as is most given on this forum but please accept that some are a bit nervous of impending court appearances/CCJ's etc even though they are spectacularly unlikely. If you are unsure you often ask some more questions which to the experienced seem repetitive and unnecessary but not as unnecessary as the jeering, unpleasant response that a few wheel out on this forum. Either answer or don't as you see approproate but try being civil which thi
