cardigan sewn together.. just need to put buttons on and it is finished.. then I might do her another couple for over summer and then I can start on some for the baby as it will be winter they will be needed.
OH has the bus to unload and the baby to bath.
I have washing to get in so we will get on with those things then we are off to eye up some pushchairs and pop to Tesco and Deb's and maybe Boots as well..
Karate kid hasn't been in touch about the fence or mattress so I'll ring him in a bit and see what he wants to do... I'll do it now.. or I'll forget.
Off to run the baby a bath while OH unloads the brum.. and I forgot to get the sewing machine out so I'll do that in a sec too.. then I can do the curtains while OH erects the BBQ and Ralph paints the fence... Squeak can go watch them.. busy busy day..... again

Valli we got the suitcases out of the loft without any problem with using the new ladder; I've taken a few pics, and it's my intention to pm you with more detailed info - hopefully some time over the weekend or early next week, depending on my spoons available!;)
Oh Vallie - "Ensor" and Pilsley - you have me pining for Derbyshire! One of my strategies to get out of this horrible financial place I'm in right now is to sell up and run away to Derbyshire...Soappie - Dovedale, the dark peaks in general, Ashbourne, Bakewell, Tissington and lots of local flyladies! What are you waiting for?
and this proves it!
I have had a busy time. A couple of errands yesterday which took ALL day, then came home, showered (oh the bliss - TWO showers a day if I want!)
then up to Mum's (birthday card delivery - I bought her a patio rose at Tansley on Tuesday) - would have been my 18th wedding anniversary (oh2) yesterday!
Then picked up my friend, a bottle of champers she happened to have in her fridge and would I like to share it? and a takeaway and we had a good old natter...and some small batch gin recommended by experts, has won prizes and is not expensive and comes from Aldi (£8.99 for a 50cl bottle).
Right now though the contents of my handbag are strewn over the dining room floor as I needed my bank card in a hurry to renew my car insurance - if the premiums get any lower they'll be paying ME in a few years LOL
so I need to clean. And tidy.

Afternoon all, we've been to the beach since tuesday. Was only meant to stay until wednesday but stayed until yesterday. Lovely weather but we had no fridge freezer or washing machine and i only packed for overnight. Eat out all the time because of the no fridge freeze so it's been costly. Fridge freezer and washing machine arrived friday morning so at least when we go back up they'll be in.
Rhys loves the sea and sand and managed to get it everywhere, as did the rest. :rotfl: Plan is to get the house sorted and head back up again on thursday until sunday. Plan today is clean, clean and more cleaning.
Haven't caught up with the thread but hope everyone is enjoying the weather.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Valli - I'll run and join in your HHC
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
