They have given me until June 2014 which is when I lose it anyhow due to being 65.

Quite a lot of people do voluntary work when on ESA, it helps to keep in contact with society.

The DWP make the decision as and when to re-assess based on information given by ATOS.

How that advice comes about is anybody's guess. Looking at historical information, there seems little connection between the capabilities of the claimant and when they are likely to recover by.

Re-assessments range in periods from 3 months to as long as 5 years. I still scratch my head as to why I was given such a lengthy period in the Support Group, yet am able to carry out some levels of activity, yet there are those that are having treatment for terminal cancer who have been put in the Work Group and are re-assessed every 6 months or so.
I now give up working it out as what will be will be!
