Winter tyres

Just over £50 each for my Zafira last November, plus a tenner each for fitting, and four rims for a tenner off ebay. Michelin energys cost about the same, and they wear about the same from experience now.
So effectively, they don't actually cost anything, just paying the money upfront for the next set of tyres I'd be buying anyway later on.0 -
Copperslip and chock the wheels that are still on the deck...
you should be fine for October or NovemberC.R.A.P.R.O.L.L.Z # 40 spanner supervisor. No problem can withstand the assault of sustained thought.Only after the last tree has been cut down. Only after the last fish has been caught. Only after the last river has been poisoned. Only then will you realize that money cannot be eaten."l! ilyë yantë ranya nar vanwë"0 -

My Nokians have 8,6,4,2 marked on them that wear away over time. I think they come with 10mm tread to start with?
The 8 has worn away on the rears, but it's still there on the fronts.
So I guess, if I didn't do silly things in snow/ice covered car parks, less than 2mm wear all around.0
