how to hide central heating pipes

about to move into a new house - It needs a bit of work doing to it, but i reckon that I know what needs to be done. The only thing is, when it had central heating put in, due to the grund floor being concrete, the pipes were put along skirting boards , and down the corners of rooms etc.
Does anyone have any bright ideas as to how to hide these? I was thinking of boxing them in, but wondered if anyone else had done anything different?

plastic covers [talon] they can be painted [+/or] wallpapered so they blend in.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

cut the plasterboard wall and feed the pipes behind then bring them back out at the valve - completely hidden.
Or if its a brick wall you will need to run them down (boxed in) but some installers run them behind the curtains as it hides it a bit0 -
They are already installed. Are you advocating repiping? OP - box 'em in (the drops that is). Paint the horizontal runs to blend in with the background.gasmanmartin wrote: »cut the plasterboard wall and feed the pipes behind then bring them back out at the valve - completely hidden.
