conservatory - sofa?

We need to furnish our conservatory, but don't fancy wicker or cane. Has anybody put a sofa in theirs?! Any opinions on this:

(a 2 seater and chair).
We also fancy a corner group, but can't find one in sale

We had a three seater and two chairs, it was ok but didn't look like a Conservatory. Now we have a two seater and two recliners and a footstool. They are leather with wooden arms and legs (Ekornes Stressless) bought from ebay and they look a lot better.
I think the reason it's traditionally wicker furniture is to allow air to circulate round and through the furniture (don't know why), but I found the wicker ones uncomfortable after a while.
The trouble with the DFS ones, they'll probably take 16weeks. Have you looked at Ikea, Argos, Homebase even ebay sell new (if you don't want to go second hand like I did).

No opinions on the placing of the sofa but we have the Strand two seater and plain fabric chair and really like it, nice and comfy once the cushions have softened up a bit. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Watch out for fading though. Creams might not be too bad but we had a terracotta sofa in the conservatory and it faded badly.0

We have a sofabed in our conservatory and it is fine. Our neighbours have a two and a three seater in their and again it looks good.
Go with what you want. I'm sure it will look fantastic!

We have a sofa in our conservatory, plus a coffee table, telly and a lamp. Looks like another lounge!0
