The Neptune Greater Russia fund is quite good and Neptune seem to specialise in the area, I am looking for a Latin America funds as well.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0

You could buy ETFs. You could even buy one that tracks performance in BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India and China).0

I don't have any specific recommendations. Just do a keyword search and find one that most closely matches what you are interested in.0 -

Hi! You can buy ETFs through HL - see switch76's post - but there are cheaper platforms around than HL for buying them. HL are aimed principally towards investment in funds (unit trusts and OEICs).

I tend to switch between Aberdeen/FirstState/Fidelity for my EM and funds when crystallising gains so I quite like your choices, I think the First State is a a more defensive fund which is no bad thing in a high risk area. I also have switched between First State and JPM for resources although I have decided to give resources a miss this year. With regards to the income fund I guess Woodford is due a good year and a lot of analysts are predicting the stocks he holds may be ready for a rerating upwards e.g. glaxo.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. Just seen this article about ETFs and the potential risks which might be of interest to ETF investors.DavidHayton wrote: »Hi!
