What are my rights - anyone care to advise?

Purchased a used car from a dealership and within 3 weeks it broke down, and it had a number of serious faults. AA towed it back to dealership who offer a 'no quibble 30 day exchange plan'. Same day we visit the dealership who refuse to offer an exchange, only a repair. We reject the vehicle and leave it at dealership as the faults are serious, likely to reoccur and expensive to put right. Following day, we are offered an exchange, however, they only have 1 vehicle to choose from, it is not the spec we want and are not allowing us to select from another (same group) dealership. They have refused a refund, many times. We paid a lot (I think) for the car, £10,795.

So, we have written to dealer principal but to be honest am not hopeful. I realise we can go down the litigation road but don't have the money to outlay then reclaim and don't think I have the energy. And of course, I need a car.

In case you are wondering, vehicle is a Toyota Verso.

You have the right to reject in the first few weeks. You may end up in court to get it though.
