Question about provider transfer

Hi all,
Am just in the process of moving my home phone and broadband to o2 from Sky (its a better deal as I am an o2 mobile customer).
I requested the move on 1st April, o2 gave me a date of 19th April for the completion. Provided them with the MAC code, etc.
Tried to log onto the internet today and I have found that Sky have cut my internet and phone access due to an "outstanding" bill..... I am disputing the amount of this bill.
Does anyone know if this affects my transfer? The transfer was initiated with the MAC code before the internet was cut off. I've just got a feeling that this is going to hold up the transfer.
Anyone have any ideas?

It wouldn't be an issue normally.BT had cut off my phone in Jan for the same reason as you have & I switched over to Primus for my phone (already have O2 BB) without a hitch,everything went live on the said date.However you have your landline with Sky so they can pretty much hold you to ransom with it.0
