When my builder removes the existing plasterboard from ceilings and walls due to soundproofing issues should there be some existing soundproofing/insulating materials in place.I believe there are none as we heard the flat upstairs putting a coat hanger in there wardrobe,it's that bad.It was built by Wimpey in 2007 but they and NHBC refuse to act on my concerns. If there should be some sort of material in the cavities what should it be.I will take photos when it comes down and if there is nothing would i have a case against the builders.
