Barclaycard existing customer BT question

Hi folks,
I recently cleared my barclaycard with a view to transferring a balance from a more expensive card and taking advantage of whatever offer was on at the moment.
Annoyingly I have just spoken with them, and I have no existing offers and consequently can't transfer a balance at all! Is this usual, and any idea how often their offers come around?
I missed the last one as wasn't ready to shift the cash. Humph! And, yes I should have called them to find out what was on offer before paying it off.....I will live and learn. Still new here and making my mistakes......

I had this situation a few years ago. They said there were no offers open to me and when i queried this they said my internal score was excellent but the score from Equifax was very low. I left it for a few months and then started getting all the offers through and always getting good deals.
I would add the score was low from Equifax because at that time I had alot of searches in a short space of time.
I know BC get a regular feed from Equifax and this may be where your problem lies.0 -
Thanks. I couldn't get any sense out of the call centre who could only respond with a 'system says no'.
I've been rearranging bank accounts recently and paid them late last month courtesy of changes to my direct debit, so perhaps that's the problem. I know my credit score is good ( or certainly was less than two months ago).
I guess I'll just sit on it and see what happens.....and perhaps revist my equifax file.
Thanks again,
