Recent car buy - Registered Keeper / Owner

Hi,

I have recently bought a car privately from someone and have recently recieved the V5C form from the DVLA with all my information on it as the Registered Keeper, although on the front it says 'This document is not proof of ownership, it shows who is responsible for registering and taxong the vehicle"

The question is, do i need to do anything else after recieving this form to say I am the owner or do i leave it that i am classed as the registered keeper??

That is all you need to do, as far as DVLA are concerned you are responsible for the vehicle. The proof of ownership comes from any documents you have from the sale.
