can someone please identify?
If anyone knows what this is, I'd be really pleased! It started growing in the compost alongside my baby tomatoes..so transplanted and it's now growing rapidly.

Could be a sunflower?
Maybe not... lower leaves look wrong.My TV is broken!

Looks like a sun flower to me as well.
One of my dads friends who was a bit of a joker used to carry a few sunflower and tomato seeds in his pocket and dropped them into pots, tubs and baskets in peoples gardens when he visited. People could not figure out how they ended up with tomato plants in their hanging baskets. It was years before he confessed.I am playing all of the right notes just not necessarily in the right order
