  • Thanks again for your replies.

I am not trying to get back everything I spent on him far from it I just want back the money he borrowed and said he would pay me back. If I included everything I spent on him like doing all the shopping taking him on holiday etc it would be much more.

I am planning on sending the letter after the bank holiday weekend. Am hoping he will just agree but may well be back for more advice again if not.
  • As long as you have evidence of acknowledgement (emails) - you should be able to pursue this through the small claims court. Courts love chronological evidence, so just print out what you've got - decide whether you wish to proceed. You will lose him as a friend/partner though, so you will need to decide whether it's worth pursuing.

I've reported each of his 20 posts, and also used Google Translate to tell him what to do if it were anatomically possible. :p

OP, (original poster), people can talk of courts and procedures but for you, this can only be put down to experience, unless he is a nice guy, which he cant be if he is welching on debt, then it is lost, tho you cant lose more by going to CAB and asking them what to do, its free advice!

How are you helping when you quote the entire spam post?
