    Dear OP,
CT scans are very useful as an examination for looking for something in particular. It is actually against the Ionising Radiation Regulations 1999 to have a scan that is not 'justified' (which means it has to say on the request, 'This scan is to rule out something specific or look for liver disease' or whatever). I would be very wary of any company offering this sort of service as a general MOT. It is honestly best not to have a CT scan unless you really need one.

Better to go back to your GP and make a list of exactly what you are worried about, where it hurts or what the symptoms are, and perhaps if you have something in the back of your mind, you could ask straight out, 'Could it be x,y,z?'. That way you can be sure that your GP is taking you seriously and you can perhaps discuss the tests that you have already had and why exactly they rule out your 'niggly doubts'.

This is not going to be the answer to your problem.

These companies have an incentive to find something wrong. If they didn't - how could they sell the idea to other worried-well people? "We've carried out 10,000 scans and found that every customer wasted their cash" or "We carried out 10,000 scans and found something wrong with a 1000 people". Which is likely to give them more future revenue?

These machines are good for people who have a condition that needs further exploration under the guidance of your GP - in which case it will be free. They are bad news for the worried-well and generaly speaking will cause more worry than they alleviate.
