More free wine from Smile

Hey kids, I just received an e-mail from Smile and it looks like they're re-running the 12 free bottles of pop offer. By the looks of things you have to deposit £1500 into the account to qualify (there's probably small print but if it's like last time then I think you could pop it in, wait for the booze and then draw it out) but then both you AND I get 12 bottles each.
Anyone out there planning on switching to Smile (it's ethical and nice) and fancy doing this with me?

please move this to the referrals board, where offers such as these belong.
  • I wonder how many people will suddenly, miraculously, manage to fund this account with the requisite £1500 a month? Funny how this account can set such a high account funding balance and still manage to pull in the great and good. Bet first direct are wondering how much cases of plonk could be bought for...
  • It's a one-off £1,500 not per month to qualify for the free booze, which can then be withdrawn. Eventually smile will send you a letter threatening closure for not complying with the funding requirement, but by then the freeloaders are long gone.

Must be working for them though as this is the third time the promotion has been run.

  • Hi, I got the free 12 bottles of wine last year, nice and the wife was very please. Well worth the postage. I have just got the e-mail recommend a friend and if they open an account 12 for you and 12 for them so I thought open an account for the wife and we get 24 bottles for Christmas. However reading the Terms and Conditions it is on about making monthly deposits etc £1000. So is this offer different from last year or are we safe depositing £1500 taking the wine and thats it. Has anyone else read the small print. cheers all. The wine was good last year but I really dont want any hassle with the bank.
