New Build Assisted Moves for Home Buyers

I am trying to move and I have an Estate Agent acting for me. I dont want to pay for multiple agents. However, I am interested in a new build property with Bellways, and the builder has suggested they help me find a buyer by using their smooth mover package. They say I will not need to pay for multiple agents as they have arrangements in place with various agents.

Has anyone used this service. Can anyone let me know of any pitfalls I may encounter if I accept this offer? Many thanks

No experience of the scheme but surely you use you're EA to sell your house. And you deal with the developer directly yourself?

I'm about to do the same with another developer, no pitfalls other than you repay the agent's fees if you end up not buying from developer.
To make the whole home selling and buying process hassle free, we will work with a recommended local agent to market your home. You agree the selling price on your existing home, and we will chase the agent on a regular basis to encourage them to find a buyer as quickly as possible. In addition to the agent working harder for you, we also will feature your home in our sales office. Remember, you can trade up, sideways or down and the service is completely free of charge!

All they'll do is 'aggressively' market your sale, ie chase and chase your agent - then pay the fees.

We did an assisted move with barratts and it all went smoothly, no problems!
