Boot catch jammed - self maintenance

I own a 2003 ford Fusion. The boot has jammed and won't open with the key or the remote or the dashboard button. The solenoid in the boot does sound when I press the remote buttons.
Does anyone have a link to a good DIY repair guide for the Fusion. Or can anyone suggest how to disengage the lock from the inside?

I bet you've got something jammed in it - coats and bag handles are a favourite, lol. Take down the rear seats and climb inside.0
