Hi
I have bought a mail list and I am looking for a decent host/server where I can send 30-35 emails a day basically advertising an electronics company.
I was using Just-host but they received a complaint from AOL??? And they suspended the account because of it. Which as I had websites on there, sent all my websites offline.
Thanks guys

So you are looking for a host that supports spamming?
Good luck, you may find one in Taiwan or similar, but expect any mail sent from them to be blocked by responsible ISPs.
We have our own email server with so receive everything unfiltered (other than a very small amount that may get filtered out by servers the mail passes through to us), and we use our own filters - currently we reject about 85% of received mail directly at the server. We still get huge amounts getting through where we block about a further 12% using anti-spam software.
Unless you have the recipient's express permission to receive the marketing emails you are sending, no respectable host is going to support you."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
You could try constantcontact who will help manage your list for you and keep you legal - but it really should be opt-IN to make people not hate you. BTW any host that does support UBE (spam) is likely to have blacklist entries, so many of your proposed clients would never see your email. Compnaies like constantcontact, by comparison, are whitelisted for their anti-spam policies.0

There are lists and there are lists.
Do you have a list of email addresses created by trolling the internet and sweeping up whatever it comes across? These cost less than 1p per name. If so it is a spam list. You were conned into buying it and you should delete it. Spammers typically send out 1 million emails at a time and expect to make 2 or 3 sales out of that number.
Do you have a list from a legitimate direct marketing firm who has the permission of the addressees to send marketing email? These cost from 10p to 50p per address and you will usually be limited in how many times you mail to them. Ask the direct marketing firm for recommendations for an email host. ConstantContact and MailChimp are 2 examples of legitimate email list hosts.0
