Capped rate for utilities? What do you think atm?
Options
Can't decide.
It seems to add around £40 a month to our bill, but need to double check this.
Our best non-capped alternative is £40 cheaper but has a £20 per utility switching fee. But that's only a month's switching cost.
Big thing I can't work out is whether gas and electricity have risen already, or whether instability in middle east/japan has not actually been factored into their rise as yet and so we can expect a second rise.

No one knows-if we did we would all jump the same way, If you do, all you are buying is a very expensive insurance policy.
Can you affords to pay an extra £40 (!) pm for peace of mind?No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Dunno, I've been giving this some thought.
I do wonder if we are headed for another price rise. Everything going on in the middle east - we're going to see the costs at some point, the question is just how soon.0 -
