Hello All,
My boyfriend's son is with us this weekend (we split custody with his mum) so we have lots of fun (and free) activities planned.
He's away out with his dad cycling on his bike and then later we are going to play footie in the park across the road.
Here's my list for the day:
- check surveys (I am also halfway through OnePoll and keept getting screened out on ones about children)
- check online banking
- washing machine and dishwasher on economy runs
- all meals from stores
- check eBay as most of my items close today
- have a NSD
- occupy a gorgeous 3 year old boy with loads of fresh air and running around!
Enjoy your weekends

Woo Hoo, nothing on One poll but I did get an elusive Pinecone survey! Really must get back in the habit of everything in my Paypal goes straight off Barclaycard.
Thanks Determined And Perni but I kinda cheated and transfered most of it to a 0% cardso still have the debt but at least it won`t cost me as much and I can get rid of Egg before it is taken over by Barclaycard.
Good Luck at the dentist Perni!0 -
Hello everyone, I am new to this, I started a diary yesterday in a bid to sort myself out. I have huge amounts of debt and income isnt great compared to what it used to be. Your ideas are great and would like to jump aboard myself.
Stitchy, youve started your own business up, could I ask, did it cost much to do? (sorry for being outright, I am a qualified beautician who thought it would be a good idea to do of an evening when childcare fees arent a issue but I have not had any funds to get started but am very desperate now to get it started.
Am not sure about a list yet but I checked my online banking and I am -£100 with no funds to pay forcoming bills.
thank you:j DMP started on 1st Oct 11 - 6 yrs 0 mths till DFD :jMay 2018 Debt free date - Mission to clear before!Depression is a challenge, Debt is a challenge and I have been given these challenges to be a stronger person. Focus and determination is the key with hard work!0 -
Morning all!
Just back from a lovely run around the park in the sun with a recovered doggy (poos back to normal thankfully!).
And some more good news ....... I HAVE NOW OFFICIALLY LOST A STONE!!!!!:j:j:j
That was my original target 7 weeks ago but I haven't found it too hard so and going to try to lose another 7 lbs and that will take me to just over 9 and a half stone - ( haven't been that since I left school! (I'm 39!) Was determined not to be fat and 40 (at Christmas) so doing ok so far.
Anyway other things...- Popped to greengrocers on the way home from the park and spent a fiver on all of the fruit and veg needed for the week - bargain! Keep me out of Mr T's
- Go to Pets at Home later to stock up on dog food
- Maybe mow lawns if weather holds
- Tidy conservatory - its become a dumping ground for school work:o
- Do a load of washing and dry naturally
- Stick to diet all day - going out for meal with OH tonight to Malaysian/South Indian place so have to be good for the rest of the day
- Mark 10 books (20 left)
- Checked bank
- Sort through work clothes for next week - back to work:T

Hey Lost and Nervous, I just wanted to say that I am pretty new to this myself and I love coming on this for ideas on how to save money. That's great you have started a diary and I am sure you will get loads more advice and support on here.
I also have huge debts but I am working my way through them and so can you.

determined_new_ms wrote: »wow stitchy your business is really coming along now! Have you got many customers? Also how comes you are claiming onepoll again so soon? It has been a year since I last requested (Feb 10) & have just requested £40 a week ago...
I am lucky with my OnePoll as on Wednesday to Friday I have my own office at work and can check the site all day. If I wait until I get home there's only a few.Lost_and_nervous wrote: »Stitchy, youve started your own business up, could I ask, did it cost much to do?) and will be using that to open a business account. Luckily I can charge 50% deposit for the corsets and use that to buy the materials. Your business would run differently of course. If you want any help just PM me!

**hangs head in shame**
Sorry about being AWOL
Mix of wedding planning, hen night planning and holiday planning
On top of getting ahead at work as i am off for nearly a month, trying to attempt a 4000 project on fraud and revising for my Personal Tax exam which i take the day before we fly to cyprus!
I want to curl in a ball in bed until the day we fly and forget about everything i have to do:(:(:(
It will all be worth it though
OH has his stag day today - paintballing, some kind of buggy racing, a meal and the drinks out!
Today
Town to first choice with mum to check over some bits
dinner from stores
Going to MR A's with Mum - quite far away so better look for deals online first to make a list
Search for school girl dressing up bits for my hen do
Went to our nearest city - exeter for shopping yesterday. Got my Mums dress for the wedding and also my Aunt bought my tiara for hte wedding! I have been so lucky with how great my family have been. My other Aunt has insisted to pay for my cousins bridesmaid dress and shoes - this saves me £164!!! My Nan bought my dress and my Mum has bought my sisters bridesmaids dress. So i have only had to pay for my daughters dresses!
Right better get on with housework quickly!! xxOrange Fairy

Have been wondering how its all been going Orange! Ur gonna just have to power through the next month, you can totally do this & more! Its a bit like when your finishing your degree there's so much to do and in an ideal world you'd have 3 x as much time, but you don't and it still all gets done anyway! xDF as at 30/12/16
