Off for the pick up trip tonight.....

Dog sitter coming to stay at my flat, will be back tomorrow evening and hoping the cats will get on - they have not seen each other for a year now so possibly fur will be flying....

    Oh dear....

7 hours drive one way, 8 hours "there" and 6 hours back - with one cat basket under my feet, my knees almost covering my ears and another cat basket on my side digging into me , lots of problems with a van, over 40 hours with no sleep BUT me made it back home:

Phoebe (black and white) and Fiona (silver tabby)

So back to 6 cats and a dog :)

Zara over the moon, 2 new "babies" home.

Fiona already walks all over the place since we got here last night.

Phoebe only now came out and started looking around.

Seems like they remember the flat - could they? They have been here 10 months ago last time.. I wonder.

Whole living room is absolutely piled up with boxes and black bags, pretty much to the ceiling - very happy cats around..

Bit of growling and sorthing themselves out but not a single fight in the last 24 hours, hope it stays this way :)

Fiona and Macius are almost identical size - Macius regular tabby, Fiona silver tabby but in a dark difficult to tell them apart.

Just that Fiona's fur is kind of rough...

Love my fury family, all 7 of them + our boy Tiger, his ashes in a box on the shelf.....

Ok, last night Phoebe attacked poor Teddy. Had to pull her off him. Poor gentle giant did not vene have time to react. He was just walking past her and she went psycho on him...

So looks like the "fun" has begun.. sigh...

    Hi Gettingready,

Can't believe i've never come accross your thread before now.

I don't quite match you but I'm back up to 5 cats

    - 2 boys of 14+ (one was a stray before he adopted us, the other belonged to a friend who wasn't sure of his age, we're just guessing from what the vet's said)
    - 4 yr old boy (Xmas pressie from Hubby)
At this point Hubby said no more!
    - 8 yr old girl (adopted from friend when she moved to rented accomodation with her fella who it turns out is allergic to cats)
At this point Hubby said no more! (she came with her brother but he had to be PTS due to illness a few months later)
    - 9 wk old kitten (found abandoned near the canal by my dad a few weeks ago)
Have promised Hubby no more now.

We have mum and dad's dog to stay when they go on holiday but fortunately this is only a few weeks a year.

I also, fortunately, have a 3 bedroom house or I'd be falling over cats (I usually do in the kitchen come feeding time)

    How do you manage???
