Who supplies the Queen with her gas and electricity and if she could choose ... do you think she would take the £30 cashback or the free wine?

Every little helps..
According to the Independent newspaper...Queen tried to use state poverty fund to heat Buckingham Palace
Ministers were asked if money earmarked for schools, hospitals and low-income families could be used to meet soaring fuel bills
The Queen asked ministers for a poverty handout to help heat her palaces but was rebuffed because they feared it would be a public relations disaster, documents disclosed under the Freedom of Information Act reveal.0 -
Well do you really think the Queen has any idea, it would have been one of her civil servants, estate managers or some such person, probably educated at public school like most of the Cabinet, looking for "free" money that they found might be provided through some sort of loophole. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

I would have thought that she knows exactly how much it cost to run the household and I imagine that she would have a keen eye for the detail and breakdown of costs. I bet she knows the price of a loaf of bread, milk and petrol which is probably more than a lot of the real decision makers in society.0
