It is interesting that they are getting that desperate OP - and that the police have that on record too, as you spoke to them.
I too would say that you should get the real police round if they come back, or maybe offer to meet them at the local police station to "deliver" the vehicle to them. Of course, what you would really be delivering is a couple of impersonators into the hands of the real police, having tipped them off before you visit the station that you will be meeting these people.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
