Tree Preservation Orders

Our neighbour has a HUGE tree that is overhanging our driveway and threatening to bring down power and phone lines.
I grew up in the house concerned (the one that owns the tree, but it was sold years ago). I recall that some of the trees had TPOs on them but i never knew which ones and i know this will require clarification before i approach the owner and a tree surgeon to get the work done.
Does anyone know how to find out if a tree has a TPO and how much it would cost?
Our Local Authority is Bradford MBDC.
Thanks

Strange as it may seem you should contact the Planning Department at Bradford MBDC who will tell you if the tree has a TPO. They shouldn't charge you for the information.Does anyone know how to find out if a tree has a TPO and how much it would cost?
