Daughter and boyfriend plan to rent a flat jointly--any advice should they break up?

in House buying, renting & selling
Daughter and boyfriend both late twenties and sensible plan to rent a flat jointly in the new year. Any advise on protective arrangements to be made before they sign up.

    there isnt any as far as Im aware

    the assured tenancy will mean they are jointly & severably liable. ie if one naffs off , the LL will come after the otther for the full rent.

    other than that theres no issues realy AFAIk
