Best business account; paying in cheques

Hi all,

I see a lot of posts in regards to the best business account but cannot find the answer to what I need. I am looking for a business account with the least amount of charges (obviously) for paying in a lot of cheques and for merchant services.

I get free banking from the Co-operative Business Bank - as part of my FSB membership. I can bank cheques and there is a merchant service option via the FSB although I haven't gone down that route yet.

One thing about the Co-op as part of the FSB membership is that they pay me an annual bonus of £25:D

Santander do a free business account where I pay in cheques at the post office free of charge, plus upto £4000 cash per month.

I second Santander, I changed from Natwest to Santander and my banking costs dropped from £180 p/m to £20!!

i am with barclays but changed to alliance and leicester which is santander or part of it and after a month of msitakes and errors that they made closed it and stayed with barclays and try and get my customers to pay online which is free,
