Well we've got one here so I signed up and started recreating my Tesco's shopping basket.

After a while it became clear that by the time I got to £75 it was going to cost significantly more.

In fact, taking into account BOGOF's, special offers and susbtituting named brand items for Tesco brand items which don't exist at Waitrose (e.g. Tesco Men's Shower Gel), I estimate between 33 and 50% more.

So even with the £20 saving its not worth it for me. YMMV.

Another thing to note is that unlike Tesco, the basket price takes account of any offers on the items you add so you have to add £75 of goods net of offers.

I waited in for a home delivery between 12 and 2. No show.
Realised I'd originally booked 1500-1700 slot, so waited for that-still no show, checked computer details 'STATUS DELIVERED' so rang helpline
No joy - the lady offered to reschedule delivery for another day as she could not contact the driver. I pointed out that the reason I chose 15/5/05 was before BOGOF and e voucher discount expired.
Silence- no offer of honouring these-then offer to reschedule again.
I declined and said I'd cancel it but could she send email confirming that my credit card would not be charged as it showed 'STATUS DELIVERED' in my online account, she could not.
I'm waiting for my credit card statement now.



.......but about your 'freebies' extras, - there weren't : 4 double velvet 9 roll toilet rolls, 2 packs of Rustlers burgers for £2.00,2 packs of Rice Krispies for £3.00......................??????????????

Julie if you want to quote a previous post you dont press reply, you press quote on the original reply and add your bit. Hope that makes sense.;)

PS sorry you are having probs with Tesco I have always found them excellent whenever I have complained, I have always received refunds, you must have got a stroppy CS. I would complain again.
