Hi
I've decided to try out online shopping with Tesco, mainly to use these discount vouchers. The thing is - I'm going into the Special Offers section and selecting goods that are on SO - but not all the offers are there when I put them in my basket - eg Scheppes lemonade is BOGOF but this doesn't appear when I put it in my basket (I know that it doesn't show the discounted price until check out - what I mean is that the offer, usually in red text isn't there when I put it in my basket). I've selected a delivery date that is within the date range of the offer - any ideas anyone?
Thanks
PS - only my second post so please don't laugh at me for being stupid"There's hard work. And there's not so hard work. I prefer not so hard work. But if you mix not so hard work with hard work it's harder than the not so hard work but not so hard as the hard work."

I've noticed this happen too on occasions, as I usually go to check my basket to tot up the savings I've made so I know roughly what I've actually spent, but they usually go through ok. My advice would be to check your delivery sheet before signing for your order and if the price is wrong either give it back to the driver to return or phone CS for a refund.
I noticed with my own order today that although I'd ordered Tesco's waffles at 9p they'd substituted them for Birds Eye ones at well over a quid, so I just handed them back to the driver "An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

Didn't realise that the BOGOFs come off at delivery not order so my £59 shop actually cost me £38 - my cupboards are stuffed now!0

curry queen i have the same problem with my local tesco delivery. I notice that they try and substitute my cheaper buys with the more expensive versions, saying that they are out of stock.
I used to use waitrose and if they were oos they sent a more expensive item but still charged the price of the lower one. This worked to my advantage on a lot of special offers as they would for example send to more expensive wash powders or bigger boxes at the lower offer price. Still they do work out more expensive so I don't use them now as i'm saving money, but oh how I miss the quality and service!0 -
What I've decided to do now is either mark everything as "no substitutes please" or if I know I could use an alternative product then I'll state that specifically.
They've been c0cking my order up a fair bit lately and I'm getting really fed up with it but last week it ended up working to my advantage. I'd ordered 6 bottles wine which were on offer and they sent the wrong ones, but they weren't substitutes, so I rejected them and complained to customer service who arranged for the right wine to be sent out instead free of charge, then they refunded the wine at full price, so I ended up £12 in pocket :j
Forgot to add that I'd also used a £15 voucher so my shopping last week was very cheap"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

My delivery got cancelled today, so it is now arranged for tomorrow morning and they are refunding me the extra pound it costs for delivery on a Thursday. However, I am wondering about the banked vouchers, when I order my next shop will the next available voucher be taken automatically or do I need to re-input it manually.£2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far
+ however may £2 coins I have saved in my Terramundi since 2000.
