i don't think they would go as far as that just to stop the discounts, there's easier ways.

At least I hope they wouldn't do something like that.....

I bought a dishwasher using the 15% code and £12.95 code. I also had the credit card refusal problem that disappeared. When the dishwasher arrived it was the model below the one I had ordered. Checking my receipt it did not have the model number on it only their code (I never printed the web page with model/price on it either; wont make that mistake again).
Unfortunately they have now changed their prices (up obviously) and their website link from pricerunner.co.uk and have no recollection of me ordering the model I wanted stating I got what I ordered. Unfortunately I cannot prove otherwise. I told them to come and collect their dishwasher as it is now 'not fit for purpose'. I await my money back.

I this another ploy to refuse the discounts I wonder?

Leemer, can you let me know how you can use twice codes on same order, I think only one code can be used. how you used 15% & 12.95 as well. thanks.

    Hi Jiji,

I put the codes in one at a time and simply just added them.

    Jiji,
Sorry about the explanation. I have just tried the 15% code and it doesn't work anymore. The 10% code posted previously (****) does however. To enter code, type in the code you want in the 'Promotion Code' Box then press 'OK'. Then enter your second code and press 'OK' and so on. If the codes are valid, the discounts are shown in the 'Promotions Taken' Box above it. Hope this helps and is the information you require.

I asked for 2 items they came to about £14 so I expected to pay around £2.
One item was delivered, with a note that the second would follow.
Called them after they billed me £5.99 on my card!
They said the second item was out of stock and not in the new catalog.
Spend 20 minutes (free Voice over IP call using www.1899.com) to the LXDirect number in www.saynoto0870.com thanks to MSE!) on the phone with no joy. Basically they said the system will not credit the money off as the order was <£10! They said they would call back, no calls. Called the next day spoke to a much more helpful person. I explained the situation and offered to order something for £4.99 to take the order over £10 and asked if I'd get free P&P and the £10 credit as I was only ordering to get the £10! She said I'll check, she did and she called back. Asked me for the CCard number to credit my account I was assured! Will update with progress.

Seems the computer systems run the LXdirect operation!
    Seth.

I strongly do not recommend using two codes on the same order. It is against the LX Direct terms and conditions of use and your chance of having your order post-billed to the non discount price is very high. Almost every person you read complaining about having lx direct charge their cc a higher price have tried to stack the codes. Now and then an order slips through and unfortunately this seems to be enough to keep encouraging people to try doing this.....
