Barclays have refused to refund it as they think it was unlikely to be fraud as they do not believe that his pin could have been seen...!!! where they there! no think not. What should I do , I know it is 2 years on but i have only just found out that they did not refund it as I was cleaning someof my other halfs letters up..HELP!!! what can we do? he only authorised 1 payment at the beginning and 1 at the end.
I know it doesn't help but you should never let the card out of your sight/leave it behind the bar.0 -

Yep!I know that, however he is too trusting however, I doubt he will ever do it again after this.
I have spoken woth the police and he can still report this to the fraud squad. I have also seen that there is a review on viewlondon about this bar and someone else also had this done but they were unable to get take any money.
I will get him to make a formal complaint again and also to the Financial Ombudsman Service, however I am trying to find more cases like this to support my partners claim!
All the police can do is log it and when there are enough of these cases they can look into it......:(0 -
