Whilst I understand the thinking behind reducing your offer after a month, a word of caution if you choose to do this. A potential buyer tried this tactic with my brother-in-law and all it did was turn him totally against the would-be buyer and refuse to consider any further offers from him (he went on to find another buyer who actually paid more too).
I think many vendors would see it as an insult should a buyer try this.
Whilst you may be able to explain Westernpromise's thinking politely to the EA, you are relying on the EA doing similar to the vendor. In fact the EA is most likely to avoid mentioning the possibility of you reducing your offer, for fear of provoking the vendor into refusing to have anything to do with you.3.9kWp solar PV installed 21 Sept 2011, due S and 42° roof.
