distance selling regs apply. You have rights of cancellation.

Did they cold call you because they knew you had an accident or was it one of those random cold calls where they dont know if there has been a claim or not but they do it knowing they will get lucky in a certain number of cases.

  • hi well they rung my phone on a withheld number n silly enough i answered ,they knew i had the accident but thought it was my partner at the time and ask if it was his policy but it was me who was actually in the accident not him although the insurance was in his name at the time ,that's when they was asking if i claimed and did i know i could claim and was being passed around i spoke to four different people who was asking questions about it next they were saying about solicitors n to take a no win no fee i felt pressured to do it and what's annoying as now i think i should of just said no and hung up when i mentioned 3 of my children were in the car at the same time that's when they started talking money n i could'nt lose it was like i felt like i had to do it ,this was only yesterday i've had a sleepless night thinking about it n deep down i don't want to make a claim but feel like im stuck
