Edinburgh Zoo Codes or Offers

I'm wishing to take my neice (and most likely my partner and his neice) to Edinburgh Zoo at the end of the month as a treat.
I have never been there yet myself and wondering if there were any offers or deals or best times to go.

I will be travelling between Glasgow to Edinburgh. :p

    The reduced price tickets are finished now, but if you go by train with Scotrail, the kids go free on the train and get into the zoo for free, you would get the train to Haymarket and can catch the Airport bus to the zoo from there. Parking at the zoo is £4 plus you have the petrol etc. so it works out pretty good value.

    Traveline journey planner. The offer that was on previously at the zoo was £10 for adults, £5 for children. You should check the zoo website just in case they bring another offer out.
